More than 30 years of experience

Laura DeVore is a unique, high-level professional offering a rare combination of financial expertise, marketing acumen, and people skills. With 34 years of experience in the financial industry, she has been a VP Financial Consultant, Regional Consultant, Tax-Exempt Market Representative, and Financial Educator. Laura leverages finely-honed interpersonal skills to understand the individual needs and desires of her clients, and she matches them with personally tailored investment strategies. Enthusiastic and positive, she makes finance fun and treats her clients like family. 

Alongside her profession, Laura loves spending time with her husband, family, and especially her two grandsons, Austin and Ayden. When she’s away from the office, Laura enjoys going to rock concerts and traveling to wine country. She is also an avid baker, always whipping up cookies, cakes, and treats for her friends and family. Nothing makes Laura happier than helping her clients lead a happy, healthy, and wealthy life.

Community and Personal Growth

Laura is a well-rounded, involved member of her community. She has served as Chairman of the Scholarship Committee for North County Women in Networking (NCWIN), awarding scholarships to women attending California State University, San Marcos. When she worked at Apriem Advisors, Laura headed up the Women of Wisdom (WOW) program which provided speakers to educate clients in a fun, engaging setting. Additionally, she served on the Fidelity Women’s Leadership Panel. Laura finds ways to utilize her financial knowledge in ways that give back to her community. She creates and coordinates workshops, seminars, expos, and recognition events, including major educational tributes and client summits.

How it all started

Laura began her career in 1987, the year of the “Black Monday” stock market crash, and she survived it. Because of her genuine interest in the success and wellbeing of her clients, Laura develops meaningful relationships with the people she serves. This enables her to develop financial plans that are as unique as her clients. Laura demonstrates a strong passion for educating people about markets and investing, and she equips them with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate inevitable changes. Her areas of expertise include but are not limited to Women and Investing, Diversity and Inclusion, and Community Outreach.
